During TFWA 2026, Creative Spirit transformed Le Goéland beach in Cannes into Club Avolta. Over four days, Avolta, the global leader in travel retail, welcomed its partners, brands and guests just a few minutes from the Palais des Festivals.
Each year, TFWA brings together the entire duty-free and travel retail industry. Schedules are packed, with meetings following one another throughout the event. Avolta's challenge was to create a distinctive space where guests could come for business and stay for the experience.
The project was designed around two key moments:

A venue that transforms from day to night
We designed one space for two distinct purposes. During the day, the beach becomes a business club where guests can connect, meet and work overlooking the sea. On Monday evening, the same venue transforms into a cocktail reception, complete with a stage, atmosphere and lighting designed for the night.
The creative vision: the elegance of a private club
The design draws inspiration from the world of private clubs, featuring golden accents, chandeliers, flowing drapes and floral arrangements. The experience begins right on La Croisette, where an entrance arch introduces Club Avolta to TFWA attendees and sets the tone before guests even make their way down to the beach.
A showcase for partner brands
Club Avolta also provides a space for Avolta's retail partners and brands, such as Marc Jacobs, Nuxe and Sol de Janeiro, to come to life. Dedicated brand corners are positioned throughout the venue, each offering its own distinctive atmosphere.

Four Days at Club Avolta
Guests enter from La Croisette, passing beneath the entrance arch before making their way down to the beach. The experience begins with a reception area leading into the heart of the club: a lounge extending onto a sea-facing terrace, alongside private meeting rooms.
During the day, Club Avolta hosts conferences, business meetings and breaks between TFWA appointments. Dedicated brand corners bring the space to life: guests can move from the beauty corner to the McLaren F1 corner, then stop by the Baileys bar or Spritz corner between meetings. An experiential wall completes the journey.
On Monday evening, the beach opened up for the cocktail reception. With a stage, bars and atmospheric evening lighting, Club Avolta became one of the key gathering spots of TFWA week.
