Every January, the MEDEF New Year’s greetings stand out as a key moment in French economic life. For the 2026 edition, this major institutional event took place in the iconic setting of the Palais d’Iéna, home of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council.

To bring together nearly 800 people, decision-makers, executives and key economic stakeholders around a unifying moment, highlighted by the address of the MEDEF President, in a solemn atmosphere.
A strategic annual event with strong symbolic value, bringing together nearly 250 guests business leaders, members of the COMEX 40, institutional representatives and partners—to open the year under the banner of vision and commitment.

For Creative Spirit, the challenge was clear: to enhance an iconic venue without ever altering its identity. The scenographic concept was built on a subtle balance between architectural heritage and contemporary event design.
To create a seamless, elegant and intuitive experience, where every guest feels naturally guided and immersed in a journey designed as a discreet staging.
The key messages conveyed by MEDEF and its President inspired the entire setup: clarity, unity, and a forward-looking vision.
Creative Spirit orchestrated the entire scenography and lighting design of the Palais d’Iéna, from guest reception through to the main reception hall.
• Architectural enhancement of the building through elegant nighttime lighting, highlighting the columns and volumes of the venue.
• Creation of a smooth, intuitive flow: guest welcome, cloakroom, ascent to the reception area, and finally the conference hall.
• Design of the reception hall as a space that is both institutional and welcoming, capable of hosting speeches, receptions and moments of exchange.
At the heart of the evening, the MEDEF President’s address took place on a stage seamlessly integrated into the existing architecture.
• The institutional speech was broadcast live on relay screens, ensuring perfect visibility for all guests.
• An alternation between speech segments and reception moments, encouraging attentive listening followed by interaction and exchanges.
The entire experience was designed to offer immediate readability of the spaces, while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
