On 28 September 2026, the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference kicked off its week at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. For the opening conference, Creative Spirit led the conference stage design and video production, creating the stage setting and visual content screened throughout the event.
Under the theme Shaping the World of Travel Retail, the conference brought together 1,517 attendees.

A Stage That Takes Flight
In 2026, TFWA set out a clear ambition: Shaping the World of Travel Retail. A collective invitation to shape and define the future of the industry.
As travel retail reinvents its experiences and accelerates innovation, the conference stage design needed to capture this momentum.
Our objective: to create a bold, inspiring stage environment that sparks creativity and imagination. A setting designed to bring ideas together, align visions and shape the future of travel retail.
Our creative approach: bold, sculptural origami forms define the scenography, expressing creative freedom and the exploration of new possibilities.

Creative Spirit also produced the video content for the conference and the opening of the workshops.
Our teams also managed the production of four workshops at the Auditorium Jean Mineur. The stage backdrop featured the same blue sky and origami-inspired shapes as the main conference, with a projection screen seamlessly integrated into the set design.
From the main conference to the workshops, the audience experienced a consistent visual identity throughout.
Outside the Palais des Festivals, we also produced the #KickCancerThon activation, a charity initiative launched by The Moodie Davitt Report. Our teams managed the entire setup, including the tent, bikes, tablets, hostesses and on-site logistics.
Delegates collectively cycled 1,502 km, raising €15,022 donated by TFWA to cancer research.

Based in Cannes, we regularly collaborate with the Palais des Festivals. For TFWA 2026, our teams also produced the opening cocktail reception, the TFWA Lounge and the closing party.
